We are Bob and Barbara Briggs and this is our first venture into guest house ownership. Barbara is experienced in the hotel trade and Bob has many years of management and administration behind him. We began the purchase of Swiss Cottage in November 2003 and after a few false starts finally moved in on 12th March 2004.

The property already has had some changes made to the decoration and facilities and it is our aim to continue to update where necessary. A number of rooms already enjoy en-suite facilities and we hope to bring all rooms to this standard. The mix of superking,king,twin,double and single rooms. Families can take advantage of the adjacent rooms on the top floor. All with en-suite facilities improving the choice available at Swiss Cottage Bed and Breakfast. We hope the improvements will make improve the comfort and surroundings and your stay will be enhanced by the process.

The work has now been carried out and all rooms are indeed en-suite with central heating. The carpet have been upgraded and all en-suite facilities updated to include hygienic floors. Inclusion of a Life 2 fire alarm system has improved safety as has an update to the electrical wiring and lighting systems.

Free Wireless Internet Broadband Access if facilitated by the use of multiple routers around the building giving coverage to all areas, rooms and public spaces.
